Dark Matter SPS Bass Spinning Rods

Dark Matter SPS Bass Spinning Rods bring together performance, style and value in a rod that is built for modern finesse bass fishing techniques. Based on the same design philosophy as our popular Multiverse Bass rods, the SPS Bass series delivers excellent performance at a significantly lower price point while offering anglers something the Multiverse rods do not — multiple color options.

These rods are built on lightweight Dark Matter blanks that were designed specifically to handle a wide range of finesse techniques while maintaining excellent sensitivity. Whether you’re fishing a NED rig along the bottom or working a weightless soft plastic through cover, the blank transmits subtle bites and movement so you can stay connected to your bait at all times.

The handle features premium cork grips paired with a comfortable graphite spinning reel seat that allows your hand to stay close to the blank for maximum feel. This ergonomic design keeps the rod lightweight and balanced while still providing the strength needed for fighting fish.

Dark Matter SPS Bass Spinning Rods are outfitted with durable guides that perform extremely well with braided fishing lines while also handling fluorocarbon with ease. The guide layout helps maintain smooth casting performance and reliable strength when fighting fish.

Visually, the SPS Bass rods really stand out. While the Multiverse Bass rods are available in only one color, SPS Bass rods come in four vibrant options — Black, Blue, Purple and Avocado. These bold finishes paired with cork grips and sleek hardware create a rod that looks just as good as it fishes.

Combine all of these elements and you’ve got a spinning rod that performs well, looks great and comes in at a price point that makes it easy to add a finesse setup to your bass arsenal.

If you’re looking for a spinning rod that delivers excellent sensitivity, modern styling and outstanding value, the Dark Matter SPS Bass Spinning Rod is an easy choice.
