Description
The Tony Maja Blackfish Rod
Take on blackfish with the confidence of the Tony Maja name.
The Tony Maja Blackfish Rod is a 7’6″ medium-heavy rod, perfect for both inshore and offshore wreck fishing. This bait- or jig-conventional rod is lighter, better balanced, and more durable than most. It features a Fuji reel seat and guides, a light cork grip with trigger for comfort, and a rounded rubber gimbal at the butt to keep it secure in rod holders while en route to the fishing grounds. Designed for 15–40 lb braid and lures or jigs from ¼ oz to 8 oz, its sensitive tip lets you feel every bite, while the strong backbone powers blackfish out of wrecks and rocky areas with ease.
