Description
Shimano’s most advanced rod technologies lie at the heart of the redesigned Ocea Plugger Full Throttle A series to offer anglers the upper hand when popping or plugging for large pelagics. Shimano’s proprietary Spiral X Core technology powers the Ocea Plugger Full Throttle A by enhancing Shimano’s traditional Spiral X carbon tape construction and utilizing Toray Nanoalloy® technology to provide up to 10% more torsional rigidity and up to 15% more compressional rigidity than rods built with standard Spiral X technology. Combined with Shimano’s Hi-Power X technology, Ocea Plugger Full Throttle provides anglers with improved rigidity, recovery, and overall strength. A reduced blank weight delivers enhanced casting distance and accuracy without sacrificing fish-fighting performance. The addition of Shimano’s X-Guide stripper guide further increases casting distance and accuracy by utilizing a higher frame and moving the guide further away from the blank to eliminate line slap and allow for more efficient line flow through the guides. An innovative Screw Lock Joint increases the fixing force of the two-piece Ocea Plugger Full Throttle A by twisting like a screw to tighten, ensuring the reel seat and guide train stay aligned during grueling battles. High adrenaline situations of tuna boiling or pelagics busting on the surface demand superior performance: The Ocea Plugger Full Throttle A heeds the call.
